It is the intention of the proponents, as a Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers to develop 1000MW (MegaWatt) of phased Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Facilities, with associated infrastructure including Battery Energy Storage Systems on the  Portion 3 and the RE of Farm Bestwood 459,  near Sishen in the Northern Cape . The proposed 1000 Megawatts will be developed as 6 projects in phases and either assessed through a single Basic Assessment or through separate Basic Assessments per phase.

The associated grid infrastructure for the developments will be situated on farms RE and Portions 3,7&8 of the Farm Bestwood 459 as well as the RE and portion 2 of the Farm Sekgame 461 near Sishen.
