An application for a Basic Assessment process will be submitted to the Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning for the proposed Sunveld Energy Grid Connection Infrastructure on Farm 176, Farm 139, Portion 6 of Farm 139, Farm 81, Farm 80, Portion 1 of Farm 1051, Farm 1051, Portion 1 of Farm 1052 and Farm 1052 (Berg River Local Municipality, Western Cape Province).
It is the intention of the proponents, as a Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers to develop Grid Connection Infrastructure (Including Substation and powerline) to connect the proposed Sunveld Solar PV and BESS project to the National Grid via the existing Eskom Aurora Substation associated infrastructure will include access roads, laydown areas and security infrastructure.
